Switching the Fulfillment Type for Amazon Listings (FBA vs FBM)

Learn how to change your Amazon listing fulfillment type in Sellbrite.

Amazon listings can use either Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) or Fulfillment by Merchant (FBM). Sellbrite allows you to switch the fulfillment type of your Amazon listings manually, in bulk, or by using an Amazon Offer Template.

IMPORTANT: Only change the fulfillment type of your Amazon listings in Sellbrite. Do not change the fulfillment type directly in Amazon. Doing so can create ghost listings and cause inventory sync issues.

Change Fulfillment Type Manually

To manually change a listing's fulfillment type:

  1. Open the listing page.

  2. Select the Offer tab.

  3. Under Listing Details, find the Fulfilled By field.

  4. Select either FBA or FBM from the dropdown.

  5. Select Save & Publish.

Your listing will be updated with the selected fulfillment type

Change Fulfillment Type in Bulk

To change your fulfillment type in bulk:

  1. Navigate to the Amazon listings page.

  2. Select the listings you want to update.

  3. Select Bulk Edit button.

  4. Select the a fulfillment type.

  5. Publish the selected listings.

Changing the fulfillment type with the Bulk Editor does not automatically publish the changes to Amazon. Make sure to publish your listings after updating the fulfillment type so the changes are reflected on Amazon.

Change fulfillment type using an Amazon Offer Template

If you use Amazon Offer Templates, you can update the fulfillment type for all listings that use the same template.

  1. Navigate to Settings > Listing Templates & Recipes.

  2. Select Amazon.

  3. Open the Offer Template you want to update.

  4. Locate the Fulfilled By dropdown.

  5. Select either FBA or FBM.

  6. Save the Template.

Any listings using that Template will inherit the updated fulfillment type when the template changes are published.
