Managing and Adding Warehouse Locations

Learn how to manage multiple warehouses in Sellbrite.

Written by Holland Rocha

Sellbrite allows you to create multiple warehouse locations to track inventory stored across different physical locations.

Using multiple warehouses helps you:

  • Track inventory by location

  • Control which warehouses fulfill orders for specific sales channels

  • Prioritize fulfillment from one warehouse over another

Add a Warehouse Location

To add a warehouse location, go to Settings > Warehouse Locations.

  1. Select Add Location

  2. Enter the warehouse name and address

  3. Save your changes

Creating a warehouse location only adds the warehouse itself. It does not move inventory into that warehouse or adjust inventory quantities.

If you need to move inventory to this warehouse, check out this article to learn how.

NOTE: It is not possible to manually add an FBA warehouse location. Learn how to enable your FBA account here.

Manage warehouse locations for a sales channel

When a new warehouse is created, it automatically becomes an active fulfillment location for all sales channels.

If you don't want the warehouse to be active for a certain sales channel, you will need to disable it for that channel.

  1. Select the sales channel you want to update

  2. Scroll to the Warehouse Locations section

  3. Move the warehouse to the Disabled Warehouses column

Set the warehouse fulfillment priority

You can also control the order in which warehouses are used to fulfill orders.

Within the Warehouse Locations section, drag and drop active warehouses to change their priority.

When an order is received, Sellbrite checks the first warehouse in the list for available inventory. If sufficient inventory is not available, Sellbrite moves to the next warehouse and continues down the list until inventory is found.
