If you've imported variation products into Sellbrite and want to re-list them as standalone products, you'll need to disassociate your child SKUs from their parent SKUs using the Product CSV. The whole process is just six steps.
Note: If you have added custom attributes to your products, your spreadsheet columns may differ from the examples below. If you have not added custom attributes, follow the steps below exactly.
1. Export Product CSV
Go to Settings > Export Data > Products > All Data to export your Product CSV.
2. Copy data
Open your Product CSV and copy product descriptions, image URLs, and any other relevant product data into your variation rows. Without doing this, your products will not contain enough information to make a listing.
3. Delete parent row
Remove the parent SKUs from your variations in column B.
4. Remove variation data
Delete the values from your variation columns (columns AB, AC, AD, AE, and AF). These columns contain variation attributes and values that are no longer needed.
Scroll to the right of your spreadsheet to column AS and enter "DELETE" for all of your parent rows. This will completely remove your parent SKUs when the file is imported.
5. Backup your inventory quantities
Before importing your updated Product CSV, export an Inventory CSV to back up your inventory quantities. Your newly disassociated products will be rebuilt from scratch, so they will temporarily have no inventory quantities.
To do this, Go to Settings > Export Data > Inventory to export your Inventory CSV.
6. Import your Product CSV.
We recommend temporarily disabling Inventory Sync before importing your Product CSV. This prevents any listings from being ended as a result of your products briefly showing zero inventory.
Complete the following steps in Order:
Import your updated Product CSV file into Sellbrite to disassociate your products.
Once the import is complete, import your Inventory CSV file to restore your inventory quantities.
Re-enable Inventory Sync.
