How to Ship Orders with Sellbrite

Learn how to fulfill orders by creating shipping labels in Sellbrite.

Sellbrite lets you process and ship orders without leaving the platform. Once an order is marked Ready to Ship, you can purchase a shipping label directly in Sellbrite. Tracking information will appear in the Shipments section of the order and automatically sync back to the originating sales channel.

Before shipping orders from Sellbrite, make sure you've added funds to your Postage Wallet or connected your FedEx or UPS account. Learn how in this quick article.

Shipping an Order

  1. Go to the Orders tab and open the Ready to Ship section.

  2. Open the order you want to fulfill.

  

Before creating a label, confirm that each item in the order shows a Ships From warehouse. If any item shows "not assigned," you'll need to assign it to a warehouse before proceeding. Learn how in this article.

If everything looks good, select Create Shipping Label. You'll be walked through the following steps:

1. Package Information:

Select a pre-defined package type from the dropdown, or choose your own packaging and enter the dimensions manually. If your product already has dimensions and weight saved in Sellbrite, this section will be pre-filled automatically.

    

2. Ship From

If your warehouse already has a physical location saved, this step will be skipped automatically. If not, enter your Ship From address here. You can save it to your warehouse location at the bottom of this step so it's ready for future shipments.

3. Ship To

Confirm the Ship To location is accurate and you can proceed to the next step. Residential Address will be automatically selected for you if the address does not contain a company name.

 

4. Select a Shipping Rate

First, choose the Label Format that best suites your printer and label setup. Your choice will be saved going forward. Then, simply choose which shipping label option you want to purchase by clicking the 'Buy Label' button.

If you need to change the label size, do so in the Label Format dropdown before purchasing.

 

Once the purchase is complete, your shipping label will be ready to view, print, or download

 
Note: To change the orientation of your shipping label (portrait or landscape), adjust the orientation setting in your printer settings when you go to print.

After purchasing postage, the shipment will appear in the Shipments section of the order. If you need to view your label again, you can select View Shipping Label. The order itself will move into the Shipping section of the Orders tab and then into Completed once Sellbrite updates the originating channel of the order.

Cancel Shipping Labels

If a label was created by mistake, you can cancel it directly in Sellbrite as long as the shipment hasn't been processed yet.

Open the order and scroll down to the Shipments section. Select Cancel Shipment to void the label. The postage cost will be refunded back to your account and the shipment will be canceled on the originating order.
