Editing Etsy Listings

Created: - Updated:

This article will teach you how to edit your Etsy listings from Sellbrite.

Sellbrite helps you manage your live sales channel listings. Etsy listings can be accessed from directly within Sellbrite, allowing you to make the changes or updates necessary without ever having log back into your Etsy account.

Editing Etsy Listings In Bulk

Editing your Etsy listings in bulk can be a huge timesaver.

Sellbrite has a feature called Apply a Preset that let's you update live channel listings with data from your product catalog in bulk.

Apply a Preset is very straightforward. It works by refreshing your listing with any of the data in your Listing Preset. The 2 steps to use Apply Preset are as follows:

1) Make your changes

Let's look at a few scenarios for Etsy:

  1. You simply want to update pricing for your Etsy listings.
  2. You have changed your product descriptions in Sellbrite or have features to add in Etsy.
  3. You have updated your product names.

Say all of these are true. You want to do a complete overhaul of your listings on Etsy.

2) Apply the changes

Go to your Listings Manager and select the listings you wish to update. Then, choose 'Apply Preset' from the dropdown at the top of the page.

You'll see your Listing Presets in this dropdown menu. Choose the Preset you want to apply to these listings. This will re-apply any product data that is grabbed by that preset, like name, price, description, etc.

Your listings will change to "Edited", which means the data has been applied, but it hasn't been pushed live.

Now simply click "Publish" at the top of the page, and your bulk edits will go live.

Editing Etsy Listings Individually

If you only want to make a few changes to a handful of Etsy listings or less, individually editing your listings may be the route you might want to take over editing your listings in bulk. This process allows you to be much more selective about the changes you make to your listings.

To edit listings individually, simply go to the Channels page and go to your Etsy channel. In the Listings Manager, you'll see all of your listings grouped into tabs by their status.

Edit the details of any listing by clicking the Listing Title. This will take you to the Edit Listing page.
