This article will teach you how to edit listings in bulk.

Editing listings in bulk can be a huge timesaver.

Sellbrite has a feature called Apply a Preset that let's you update live listings with data from your inventory in bulk.

How Apply a Preset works

Apply a Preset is very straightforward. It works by refreshing your listing with any of the data in your Listing Preset. The 2 steps to use Apply Preset are as follows:

1) Make your changes

Let's look at a few scenarios for eBay:

  1. You simply want to update pricing for your listings.
  2. You have new descriptions or features to add.
  3. You have new shipping options to apply to your listings.
  4. Your custom template has changed, and you need to reapply it.

Say all of these are true. You want to do a complete overhaul of your listings on eBay.

2) Apply the changes

Go to your Listing Manager and select the listings you wish to update. Then, choose 'Apply Preset' from the dropdown at the top of the page.

You'll see your Listing Presets in this dropdown menu. Choose the Preset you want to apply to these listings.

This will re-apply any product data that is grabbed by that preset, like name, price, description, etc. Your listings will change to "Edited", which means the data has been applied, but it hasn't been pushed live.

Now simply click "Publish Listings" at the top of the page, and your bulk edits will go live.
