Managing Jet Orders

This article will teach you how to Ship, Cancel, Refund and Return Jet Orders in Sellbrite.

Orders are pulled into Sellbrite every 15 minutes from Jet, and any other connected channels.

Orders come into Sellbrite for a Listing, which must be linked to a Product so Sellbrite can adjust inventory quantities across all channels for that Product.

Orders are displayed by their statuses, which also update every 15 minutes. When you click on the Orders tab, you will start in the Ready to Ship tab by default.

Open orders include those that are Awaiting Payment, as well as those marked Ready to Ship.

Shipping Orders

Jet orders can be shipped and processed using Sellbrite.

To ship a Jet order, simply open a Jet order by clicking on the order # and then select Create Shipping Label in the Order Details page.

1) Package Information:

Select a pre-defined package type from the dropdown, or choose to use your own packaging and enter the dimensions. Dimensions and weight will automatically be populated in this section if your product already has the dimensions and weight saved in the Products page of Sellbrite.

2) Ship From:

This step will be automatically skipped if the information is already saved in your Warehouse Locations (see add the physical location to your warehouses). Otherwise, you can enter the Ship From information here, and choose the option at the bottom to save the info back to your warehouse location for future use.

3) Ship To:

Confirm the "Ship To" location is accurate and you can proceed to Get Rates. Residential Address will be automatically selected for you if the Ship To address does not contain a company name.

4) Select Shipping Rate:

First, choose the Label Format that best suites your printer and label setup.  Your choice will be remembered for next time.  Then, simply choose which shipping label option you want to purchase by clicking the Buy Label button.

Your shipping label will be available to view and print or download, once the transaction is successful.

Once your postage is purchased, you'll see your shipment added to the order in the Shipments section.  If you need to view your label again, you can click the View Shipping Label link. The order itself will move into the Shipping section of the Orders tab and then into Completed, once Sellbrite updates the originating channel of the order.

Canceling Orders

Jet orders can be canceled in Sellbrite, so long as the order has not yet been shipped and processed. This means any Open orders (including those Awaiting Payment and Ready to Ship), can be canceled.

To cancel a Jet order, simply open a Jet order by clicking on the order # and then select Cancel in the Order Details page.

You can cancel any item ordered in full, or cancel all items.

When you complete your cancelations, you can always see what items you canceled back in the Order Details page.

Refunding Orders

Jet orders can be refunded in Sellbrite, so long as the order has already been marked as Completed. For a Jet order to be marked as Completed, the order must have been shipped and processed. The order does not have to have been received by the buyer.

To refund a Jet order, simply open a Jet order by clicking on the order # and then select Refund in the Order Details page.

You can refund any item ordered in full, or issue a partial refund for an order item.

When you complete your refund, you can always see what you've refunded back in the Order Details page.

Returning Orders

Jet order returns can also be processed in Sellbrite.

Sellbrite will notify you when there is a pending return for a Jet order and you can see your Jet order returns in the Returns tab of the Orders page.

To return a Jet order, simply open a Pending Return order by clicking on the order # and then select Return in the Order Details page.

You can return any item ordered in full, or make a partial return for an order item.

It's important to remember that when you are marking order items as returned, you're also issuing a Refund to the buyer as well. You can therefore also issue a refund in full, or issue a partial refund for a given return.

When you complete your return, you can always see what you've marked as returned back in the Order Details page.
