Getting Started with Buy on Google
Learn how to connect your Buy on Google channel to Sellbrite.

NOTE: Before trying to connect your Google account, confirm that the email address being used has admin privileges for the store being connected. Otherwise, the account will fail to connect and error will be returned.

In order to get your account connected, you will also need to make sure that you have enrolled in the Order Manager feature. Here's how:

  1. Enroll your Merchant Center account in “Buy on Google”. (This is in addition to your Merchant Center’s enrollment.)

  2. Agree to the Buy on Google terms in your Merchant Center account (located at Merchant Center > Buy on Google during the onboarding stage or under the About sub-menu after you’re live).

  3. Add the “Buy on Google Order Manager” role to your new Google Service Account (GSA) that was created in the previous step. Do this for any other account that will use the Orders API or access the Orders view in Merchant Center.

Next, you will need your Google Merchant ID. You can find this in the top-right corner of the Google Merchant Center page.

Next, log into your Sellbrite account and navigate to Settings > Sales Channel Integrations > Connect a New Channel. From this page, select Google Shopping. Provide a channel nickname, then enter your Google Merchant ID and click "Connect Your Account."

Before connecting your account, you will have the option to enable Google Shopping Ads and Buy on Google. By default, you will be registered to list your products on surfaces across Google, meaning they will appear for free in search results around the web.

If you're not familiar with these programs, you can learn more, here, before choosing to enable them or keep them disabled. If you choose to disable these options, you can always enable them later in your Google Channel Settings.

Once you click "Connect Your Account", a popup will appear, asking you to grant Sellbrite access to your account. Click "Allow." If you have multiple Google accounts, you will first need to select which account you are connecting.

Once your account is connected, Sellbrite will begin importing any existing listings from your Google account.
