One of the most important parts of getting started with Sellbrite is building your product catalog. Your Sellbrite products will be the central control system for your sales channel listings.
If you already have products listed on your Jet channel, Sellbrite can import those listings so you can manage them moving forward. There are 2 goals when importing listings:
1. Import listing data
The first goal is to get your Jet listings into Sellbrite so they can be managed moving forward. This is usually done for you automatically when you connect your Jet account to Sellbrite.
2. Create products and/or link to products & import Jet Inventory
The second goal is to link your Jet listings to products in Sellbrite, so that inventory and order data can be synced between them. If there are no products in Sellbrite yet, you have the option to create products from your Jet Listings. Creating products from your listings will use the inventory quantities on those listings to build your initial inventory in Sellbrite.
For Jet only, in order for Sellbrite to import your Jet inventory quantities when building products, your Jet Fulfillment Nodes must be mapped to your Sellbrite Warehouse Locations.
How to import listings
To import your listings, go to Settings > Import Data, and choose Jet from the Listings section of the import page.
The import page gives you one option when you run your import:
Automatically build products from these listings
The most common option when importing listings is to automatically create products from of them. Sellbrite will use your Jet listing titles, descriptions and other listing information to build your products.
Sellbrite will also use the inventory quantities from your Jet listings to create the initial inventory quantities for your Products. Remember, in order for Sellbrite to import your Jet inventory quantities when building products, your Jet Fulfillment Nodes must be mapped to your Sellbrite Warehouse Locations; otherwise your products will be built with quantities of 0.
For peace of mind, also know that any manually linked listing will never be unlinked during an import, so if you take the time to link listings to existing products during your setup, a new Jet import will never undo that work.
