There are two CSV spreadsheets you can use in Sellbrite: Product CSVs and Inventory CSVs.

Product CSVs

You can use Product CSVs to change product information such as Name, Description, Price, images, and more! You can edit a variety of product data with Product CSV. See a complete list here.

You can also add new products into your Sellbrite Product Catalog with a Product CSV.

Export a Product CSV File

To change product information or add products with a Product CSV, go here:

Settings > Export Data > Products - All Data

After you click "All Data," you will be given the option to export all categories, or one specific category.

Additionally, you can export data based on tags that are applied to your products:

NOTE:
Clicking the "Template Only" icon will give you a Product CSV with no product data. This is useful if you strictly want to add products via CSV, and do not need to change data on any existing products.

Clicking "Export Product" will generate your Product CSV Export. When the export is complete, you will receive a pop-up notification that reads "CSV products export is complete" in the upper right corner of Sellbrite:

You can access your CSV by clicking this pop-up. Or, you can click on the Envelope Icon to see a list of completed actions, and download your CSV from there:

Once you have your CSV file exported, make the changes or product additions you need, and save the CSV file.

NOTE: Do not delete or edit rows 1-3, as doing so will prevent the file from successfully importing back to Sellbrite. You can delete CSV columns that you don't need to edit, in order to decrease import time. However, you must keep the following columns for the import to work: SKU, Parent SKU (if you are adding or editing variation SKUs), Name, Price, Variation Attribute columns (if you are adding or editing variation SKUs).

Import a Product CSV File

When you have completed your CSV file changes, here's how to easily import your updated CSV file:

Settings > Import Data > Products - CSV File

This will take you to the Import Data page. From here, click "Choose File" to select your updated CSV File.

If you added Categories to your products in the updated CSV File, be sure to click the "Create New Categories from Category Name" checkbox below, so those Categories are created in your Sellbrite account:

After you have selected your updated CSV file, click "Upload File." Your updated data will import into Sellbrite, and your changes will be applied!

Inventory CSVs

You can use Inventory CSVs to the available quantity, cost, and bin location of products in your Sellbrite account.

Export an Inventory CSV File

Here is how to access a Inventory CSV file, if you wish to change inventory information:

Settings > Export Data > Inventory - All Data

After you click "All Data," a box will appear. This box lets you choose to export product information based on the warehouse where it is located, and by Category. This will help you isolate the specific products that you want to add or change information for:

Clicking "Export Inventory" will prompt your Inventory CSV Export. When the export is complete, you will receive a pop-up notification that reads "CSV inventory export is complete" in the upper right corner of Sellbrite:

You can access your CSV by clicking this pop-up. Or, you can click on the Envelope Icon to see a list of completed actions, and download your CSV file from there:

Once you have your CSV file exported, make the changes or product additions you need, and save the CSV file.

NOTE: You can delete any columns in the Inventory CSV except the SKU column.

Import an Inventory CSV File

When you have completed your CSV file changes (and made sure to save them in .CSV format), here's how to easily import your updated CSV file:

Settings > Import Data > Inventory - CSV File

This will take you to the Inventory Import page. From here, click "Choose File" to select your updated CSV File. You will also have two more options to select, CSV Quantity and Inventory Warehouse, and have the ability to add a Note.

CSV Quantity

In the CSV Quantity drop-down, you will need to select Actual Quantity or Quantity Adjustment.

Actual Quantity means you are replacing whatever quantity is in Sellbrite with the quantity in the CSV you are importing.

Quantity Adjustment means you are adding to or subtracting from the quantity in Sellbrite based on the inventory quantities in your CSV file import.

For example: If you had quantity 8 of SKU: SHIRT-SMALL-RED in Sellbrite, and imported a CSV with quantity 4 of SKU: SHIRT-SMALL-RED; then your total quantity would equal 12 in Sellbrite (existing 8 + new 4 = 12 total quantity).

Inventory Warehouse

When you import an Inventory CSV file, you must choose which warehouse inventory you are editing.

Your selection here will determine where the inventory adjustments will be reflected in Sellbrite.

Note

You can also add a note to go along with your Inventory CSV import. This note is useful if you want to easily recall why you updated inventory at a particular time. For example, you may want to cite "Shipper XYZ Shipment: 6/19/2019." These notes will appear in your product inventory tab within Sellbrite.

Once you have selected the Inventory CSV file you wish to import, selected the CSV Quantity type, the warehouse where you want to import your changes, and made any notes you wish, click "Upload File." Your updated data will import into Sellbrite, and your changes will be applied!
