Quick Navigation

eBay's Guaranteed Delivery options allow sellers who qualify to guarantee delivery of a buyer's order by a specific date. eBay offers two versions of Guaranteed Delivery:

In order to use eBay's either of eBay's Guaranteed Delivery Options, you must first Opt In here.

Once opted in, you'll need to meet eBay's requirements in order to successfully use either the Handling Time or Door-to-Door option in Sellbrite.

Using the Handling Time Option

If you've chosen to use eBay's Handling Time option, your listings must meet the following requirements:

1. Handling time must be set to zero or one business days.

2. Returns must be accepted for the item.

3. The location of the item must be specified.

To meet all of these requirements, simply go to the Payments & Returns tab of an eBay listing in Sellbrite. From here, you can set your handling time, accept returns and specify the item's location.

If you use a Payment Template, you can also set your handling time, accept returns and set item locations using your template.

To do this, edit an existing eBay Payment Template or create a new one from the Listing Templates & Recipes page.

Once you've set your handling time, returns and item location, simply Save your changes.

If your template is already applied to eBay listings, your listings will automatically update with the changes made in the template, otherwise you can apply this template to your eBay listings. Learn more about eBay Templates here.

Once all of these requirements are met on your selected eBay listings, your next step is to fulfill orders within the selected Handling Time to ensure the Guaranteed Delivery date set by eBay.

Using the Door-to-Door Option

In order to use eBay's Door-to-Door option, your listings must meet the following requirements:

  • A shipping rate table must be created at ebay.com/RateTable to define shipping costs and speed by region.

  • Active listings' shipping details must be associated with a rate table to guarantee delivery.

  • A one-day or expedited shipping service option with a transit time of one to four days must be chosen.

  • Returns must be accepted for the item.

  • The location of the item must be specified.

Rate tables must be created in eBay, but once created, everything else can be done in Sellbrite.

But first...

Before you're able to apply Rate Tables in Sellbrite, you must first renew your eBay token (the authentication between Sellbrite and eBay).

To renew your eBay token, simply go to your eBay Channel Settings in Sellbrite and select "Renew Token".

Follow the steps to update your eBay connection and re-authorize Sellbrite access to your eBay account.

Applying Rate Tables

Once your eBay token is renewed, you can begin applying Shipping Rate Tables to listings in Sellbrite.

A Shipping Rate Table can be applied to a listing by going to the Shipping tab of a selected eBay listing. From here, set your Shipment Type to Flat and toggle on Shipping Rate Tables.

You may need to pull in your Shipping Rate Tables into Sellbrite by using the "Refresh Shipping Tables" button. Once your shipping rate tables are refreshed in Sellbrite, select a rate table from the dropdown and select a shipping service option with a transit time of one to four days.

Next, go to the Payments & Returns tab of the listing to accept returns and specify the item's location.

Once you've applied your rate table, selected a shipping service option with a transit time of one to four days and have accepted returns and specified the item's location, simply Save & Publish your changes.

Of course, you can also meet all of these requirements using a Shipping Template and Payment Template, respectively.

If your templates are already applied to eBay listings, your listings will automatically update with the changes made in the Shipping and Payment templates, otherwise you can apply these templates to your eBay listings. Learn more about eBay Templates here.

Fulfilling Your Guaranteed Delivery Orders

Using eBay's Guaranteed Delivery options for your listings means you'll need to process and ship out Guaranteed Delivery orders as quickly as possible.

To easily find these orders in Sellbrite, you'll see an eBay icon in the "Ship Method" column of the Ready to Ship tab in the Orders page.

When you open a Guaranteed Delivery order in Sellbrite, you'll see the Ship By Date and Deliver By Date in the Order Details.
