Sellbrite keeps a record of inventory changes for each product through the Transaction History view. This history includes completed orders, manual inventory adjustments, and automated inventory changes.

View a product’s Transaction History

To view Transaction History for a product:

  1. Open a product page

  2. Select the Inventory tab

  3. Select Transaction History

What appears in the Transaction History

Your Transaction History will display all completed orders for a product and any manual or automated adjustments made to its inventory.

Orders

Completed orders display:

  • The shipment date (not the original order date)

  • The source sales channel

  • The order number

  • The quantity deducted from inventory

Manual inventory adjustments

Manual inventory adjustments display:

  • The user who made the adjustment

  • The adjustment date

  • The quantity added or deducted

How reserved inventory works

Orders do not appear in Transaction History immediately after being placed.

When an order is created, the inventory quantity moves into a Reserved state. Inventory is not deducted from available stock until the order is marked as Shipped.

Once the order is shipped, the inventory deduction will appear in the product’s Transaction History.
