If you run into an error while listing to Walmart in Sellbrite, find the error message below to see what's causing it and how to resolve it.

"This listing could not be published to Walmart because it is missing one or more key features..."

Full message: "This listing could not be published to Walmart because it is missing one or more key features, such as product image, weight, brand, etc. If you're publishing a variation listing, make sure that the product's variation attributes have been mapped."

This error can appear for a couple of reasons:

  • You're publishing a variation listing without a mapped variation attribute, such as size or color.

  • Your listing is missing an image, or a required field hasn't been filled out.

How to fix it: Confirm that every required field, marked with a red asterisk, is filled out, and that your listing includes an image. If you're publishing a variation listing, make sure its variation attributes are mapped correctly.

"This listing contains a product ID (UPC, EAN, etc.) that is already being used by another listing..."

Full message: "This listing contains a product ID (UPC, EAN, etc.) that is already being used by another listing in your Walmart account. You will need to provide a different product ID in order to publish this listing."

This error appears when the UPC on your listing is already assigned to another one of your listings.

How to fix it: Check the UPCs across the products you're trying to list and confirm none of them are duplicates. If you find a duplicate, replace it with a valid, unique UPC.

"UPC must be 12 digits long. Please provide a 12 digit UPC before publishing your listing."

This error appears when the UPC you entered is longer than 12 digits.

How to fix it: Check your UPCs and make sure each one is a valid, 12-digit UPC before republishing the listing.
