Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Where do I find the API keys to connect my Walmart channel?
A: Log into your Seller Center account and click on 'Settings.' Scroll to the bottom of the dropdown and select 'API Key Management.' From that page, you may need to regenerate the Private Key if you haven't done so yet. Use these keys to connect Walmart from the Walmart Settings page in Sellbrite.
Q: Does Sellbrite support variation listings for Walmart?
A: Yes, Sellbrite does support the publication of variation listings to Walmart. Variations will appear as separate rows in your Walmart Listings Manager (just like how they appear for Amazon), but they will be properly grouped on Walmart.
Q: I imported listings from Walmart, why don't I see them in Sellbrite?
A: It can take Walmart up to 72 hours to make new listings available through their API. If your listings are not importing into Sellbrite, wait until 72 hours have passed, then try again.
Q: I have a UPC exemption with Walmart. Can I still create listings from Sellbrite?
A: Yes! If you have a UPC exemption, you can simply put 'CUSTOM' in the GTIN field when publishing your listings from Sellbrite.
Q: I imported my listings from Walmart, how come my product descriptions are missing?
A: Unfortunately, this is a limitation with Walmart's API, which does not let third-party apps like Sellbrite retrieve information from the Description field. The only fields they provide are the SKU, the main product image, product identifiers, product name, price, and primary category.
Q: My listings have been publishing to Walmart for a long time. Is this normal?
A: Yes. Walmart runs certain listing updates through their own internal compliance checks to ensure they meet Walmart's platform standards. This review is triggered and managed entirely on Walmart's side, and Walmart has stated it can take up to 31 hours to complete. During this time, your listing may show as "Processing," which simply means Walmart hasn't accepted it yet. Keep in mind Walmart can also take longer to process listing data for products that don't already exist in their catalog. If you don't see movement after 31 hours, please reach out to our support team.
Q: Can I use Amazon FBA to fulfill my Walmart orders?
A: Walmart does allow sellers to use FBA to fulfill orders. However, you must ship the items in a neutral box and block Amazon Logistics as a carrier to ensure orders aren't delivered using Amazon-branded vehicles and to comply with Walmart's shipping and fulfillment policy. These settings are enabled by default in Sellbrite when fulfilling Walmart orders via FBA.
Q: How do I get on Walmart Free 2-Day Shipping?
A: You can get pre-approved for Walmart’s fast shipping program by fulfilling through Flexport. Sellbrite integrates directly into their program, so it’s easy to keep track of your orders and get them on 2-day shipping.
Q: Do you integrate with Walmart Fulfillment Services (WFS)?
A: Unfortunately, Sellbrite does not integrate with Walmart Fulfillment Services and it is not currently on our product roadmap.
