How to Cancel and Refund Walmart Orders

Learn how to cancel and refund Walmart orders.

Sellbrite allows you cancel Walmart orders directly within the platform. However, Walmart orders can only be canceled before they have been shipped. To cancel a Walmart order:

  1. Go to the Orders page and find the order you want to cancel.

  2. Select Cancel Items.

  3. Select the items you want to cancel. If you want to cancel all items in the order, you can do so in one action.

Note: The Cancel Items button may not appear immediately after the order is received. Walmart needs to confirm that Sellbrite has received the order, which can take up to 20 minutes. If the button isn't visible yet, select Refresh on the order details page to check again.

The cancellation may take a few minutes to reflect in your Walmart Seller Center. Log in to Walmart Seller Center and go to your Order Dashboard to confirm. Each canceled item should show a Canceled status.

How to Refund Walmart Orders

Only Completed orders can be refunded from Sellbrite. To refund a Walmart order:

  1. Go to the Orders page and find the order you want to refund.

  2. Select Refund Items.

  3. Select the charges you want to refund. You can refund any combination of the selling price, shipping charges, item tax, and shipping tax.

  4. Select the reason for the refund.

  5. Save the refund.

Note: The Refund Items button may take a few minutes to appear after Walmart acknowledges the shipment. If it isn't visible yet, select Refresh on the order to load it sooner.

Once saved, the refund will post to Walmart immediately. Check your Order Dashboard in Walmart Seller Center to confirm. The order items will still show a Shipped status, but the order value will show as $0.
