How to Add New Variations to Existing Products

Learn how to add a new Variation option to an existing live Listing on your sales channels.

If you need to add a new size, color, or style to an existing product in Sellbrite, follow these steps to ensure it's properly linked and managed across your sales channels.

Step 1: Add the New Variation in Sellbrite

  1. Go to Products > All Products.

  2. Locate the product you want to update and select the product title to open the Edit Product page

  3. Navigate to the Variations tab.

  4. Enter a new SKU for the variation you’re adding. Make sure it exactly matches the SKU used on the sales channel.

Step 2: Add the Variation on the Sales Channel

  1. Log into the sales channel where the product is listed.

  2. Add the new variation to the product listing. Use the exact same SKU for this variation that you used in Sellbrite.

If your product is listed on multiple sales channels, repeat this step for each channel before moving on to Step 3.

Step 3: Link your listings

  1. Run a listing import from the channel where you added a new variation. Until you do this, Sellbrite won't recognize that the new variation has been added to that listing.

Because your product SKUs and listing SKUs are an exact match, your listings and products will automatically link.
