How to Create a Marketplace Listing with Sellbrite:
Step 1: Select Product(s)
Go to Products > All Products
Select the products you want to list by checking their checkboxes
Click List Products on Channel
Step 2: Build your Listing(s)
Sellbrite will present you with options for a default Shipping Template. This template will apply shipping options to the listings you are creating, and can be applied to future listings. Sellbrite automatically fills in best practices for shipping options, but you can edit these options to suit your needs:
Once the shipping options in this Shipping Template look good to you, click "Save & Continue."
NOTE: You can change the options on this Default Shipping Template at any time, but you will never need to create a new Default Shipping Template again.
After your Shipping Template is created, Sellbrite will present you with options for a Default Payment Template. Make your selections, and click "Save & Continue." Like the Default Shipping Template, you can always change the Default Payment Template options, but will never need to make another one.
Next, Sellbrite will build Category Templates for your products based on the Sellbrite Category. This Category Template ensures your product will be categorized correctly in the channel you are listing to.
Below, the product being listed has the Sellbrite Category "Dog Flea & Tick." Because of this, Sellbrite has listed several eBay category options that correspond to this Category. Simply select the channel category that best fits your Sellbrite Category.
If you do not see the correct channel category listed, click "Browse categories." This will open up a category tree, which will allow you to select the correct channel category for your product:
Once you have selected the correct channel category for your new Category Template, you can map attributes from Sellbrite to the Category Template. Sellbrite automatically presents the required Conditions and Item Specifics of the category you selected.
If the Condition in Sellbrite is "New," and you want that to reflect in your listing, select "New" in the Conditions drop-down menu.
For all required Item Specifics, you will want to map the product field where your data is stored to each required Item Specific field.
For example, Brand is the only required Item Specific for the Category pictured above. In this case, Sellbrite automatically maps the "Brand" field in your Sellbrite Product to the Brand Item Specific. However, you can map any Product field to that Item Specific that you prefer.
If you would like to map other, non-required Item Specifics to your listings, and add additional information to your listings, you can toggle on "Advanced Options" (pictured above). This will open additional listing options such as: eBay Secondary Categories (which come with an additional charge from eBay), eBay Store Categories, Additional Condition fields, and Listing Format & Duration fields:
Toggling "On" Advanced features also opens a full list of available Item Specifics for your chosen Category. You can map existing Sellbrite Product fields to these Item Specifics, or Sellbrite Custom Attributes (such as Breed Size to "Dog Size"). Learn more about Custom Attributes here.
Category Templates will always automatically apply to new listings you create where the product's Sellbrite Category corresponds with the Category Template you already made.
For example: If you create a Category Template for the Sellbrite Template "Dog Flea & Tick" that corresponds with the eBay category "Flea & Tick Remedies," the Category Template you made will automatically apply to all listings for products with the Sellbrite Category "Dog Flea & Tick" going forward.
After you have selected the correct category for the product(s) you are listing, and applied all the options you want to include, click "Save & Continue."
Step 3: Review your Draft Listing(s)
Next, you will automatically be taken to the Draft Listings for your products:
At this point, you can ensure that your listings have all of the necessary templates applied by scrolling to the right:
The new Category Templates that you created will appear in the "Category Template" column. The other templates (Title, Payment, Pricing, and Shipping) are automatically generated by Sellbrite when you first connect your channels. These templates are based on listing best practices, but can be customized if you wish.
Step 4: Publish your Listing(s)
The listings you created will already have their corresponding blue checkboxes selected. Simply click the Publish Button to publish your listings.
Now your listing data will be sent to the channel! The time it takes for your listings to publish live on your chosen channel depends on the channel itself, and the number of listings you have chosen to publish at once.
